Before & After

We all love to see before and after pictures, but I'd like to dedicated this space to those transformations that are radical enough to take your breath away. (OK, a little over the top maybe but..)  It's these extreme makeovers that give us hope that we can, in fact, change the look of even the most undesirable areas of our home.  A few of these are from my own home, but many will not be.

The Pear Tree Cottage
I'd like to begin by sharing pictures of my sister's family room.   It's incredibly awe-inspiring, to say the least. You can read more about this transformation on her blog The Pear Tree Cottage.  So, without further ado...

 The Old Painted Cottage
If you are looking for amazing transformations, then you must visit The Old Painted CottageJennifer, the home owner, is very talented, hence the reason why I've been following her blog for a long time now.  I am absolutely in love with her charming, romantic style.  She's just completed and  revealed a corner or knook of her house that has gone from sad to spectacular. The before picture below is what this area looked like when she purchased the house 2 1/2 yrs ago. Check it out...

& this is what it looks like now

From drab to fab! Great job Jennifer!   Below are some other before and after pictures of The Old Painted Cottage that I've posted in the past but would like to now have as part of my permanent "Before and After" page.  Enjoy!
